The Clerks Office hours are Monday through Friday - 8:30a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

 The County Clerk and Recorder is elected by the citizenry of Lake County to serve statutorily as the Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners, and recorder of deeds. This office also serves as an agent for the Secretary of State of Colorado for voter registration and administration of elections.

  This office also handles motor vehicle titles, registrations, driver's license, liquor licenses, and sales taxes for the Colorado Department of Revenue.
