PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Section 1-5-205, C.R.S., that a Coordinated Election will be held in Lake County on Tuesday, November 6, 2012.
Applications for mail-in ballots may be made in person at my office located at the Lake County Courthouse, 505 Harrison Avenue, Leadville, Colorado, during normal business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, holidays excepted; by fax sent to my office at (719) 486-3972; or by mail addressed to me at P. O. Box 917, Leadville, Colorado. Regardless of the method selected for requesting a mail-in ballot, all requests for mail-in ballots to be mailed must be received in my office by 5:00 p.m. Friday, October 30, 2012. The last day to apply for an absentee ballot if the ballot is not to be mailed is Friday, October 30, 2012 or you may pick up an absentee ballot by November 2, 2012. All ballots must be received by the Clerk and Recorders office November 6,2012 by 5:00pm. Ealry voting is October 22, 2012 at the Court House foyer from 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday thru Friday.
