3. Reducing fire hazards around home and workplace. Most of these hazards fall into
   3 categories:
         1. Electrical - be sure to check electrical outlets for over loading. Use
surge protectors. It is safer to use thick power cords instead of thin
            extension cords.

Know where to shut off the electrical power. Inform each other where the
circuit breaker box is located and the location of the main
switch. Use any labeling at circuit box, if necessary.

         2. Natural Gas - know location of gas meter and how to shut it
off. Keep proper tool in a designated spot to be able to shut
off gas with written instructions. Label any valves if necessary.
Propane Tank - know location of propane tank and how to turn off
propane gas at tank area. Keep proper tool to shut off propane gas
in a designated spot with written instructions. Label any valves if
            necessary.

         3. Flammable or combustible liquids - store these types of liquids properly
by reading labels to identify flammable products. This will reduce the
fire hazard. Throw away any old products in storage.
