LAKE COUNTY LANDFILL/RECYCLING

Lake County's Landfill hours are 8:00 to 5:00, Friday - Tuesday

Closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays. 

Closed July 4th and 5th, 2013

NOTE: By State Law the Landfill Must Close Due to High Winds

NEW E-RECYCLING TO START June 1st, 2013 

Landfill users paying for a load of 1 yard up to 3 yards between the dates of Friday, May 24th and Saturday August 3^rd will receive a voucher for an equal or lesser amount of trash, to be redeemed in one trip. For more information on this Lake County program call Michael at Lake County Road & Bridge @ 486-0259 or the Landfill @ 486-3099.

The Landfill operations include recycling, Non-Hazardous waste disposal and Slash (yard waste). Recyclables that are accepted are Scrap Metal, Oil recycling, tires, batteries, glass, plastic, and paper. We encourage all in our community to make an effort to recycle and continue keeping Leadville a beautiful place to reside in and visit.
