Welcome to Lake County Landfill and Recycling Center
Help us make our recycling center a success! All items must be sorted into the proper bins. Please note that all cans and plastic item must be rinsed of any food or liquids if not they will be refused. We ask that you please check in with the gate keeper. Children and dogs are asked to please stay in the vehicles If you need assistance please feel free to ask.
Not Acceptable Items Are:
Wax cover cardboard
Juice Containers
Packing Material
Styrofoam
Motor oil containers
Window panes
Ceramic
Tempered (Pyrex)
Windshield
Acceptable Items Are:
Newspapers
Shredded office paper
Magazines
Catalogs
Phonebooks
Aluminum cans
Tin cans
Metal Cans
Plastic bags
Plastic #1 thru #7 (please flatten plastic as much as possible)
Glass bottles
Cardboard
Paper Board
Please Remember individuals utilizing the landfill must be considerate and respectful to the landfill staff.
