Recreation Department Home Page

Welcome to the Lake County Recreation Department! Our mission of the Lake County Recreation Department is to provide exceptional recreational opportunities for the residents and visitors of Lake County by providing safe, welcoming parks and recreation facilities and affordable, diverse recreation opportunities for people of all ages to play, learn and build a strong sense of community.
The links at left provide information regarding our facilities, staff, programs and activities. To view the 2015/16 Winter and Spring Program Guide click HERE. If you have questions or comments, please contact the Recreation Department at 719-486-7486, 7484 or 7494, or stop by our office in Room 105 of the Lake County Courthouse.
Please know that we do our best to ensure that someone is in the office at all times, however due to the size of our department and the multitude of programs and activities that we are responsible for we are not always in the building. If you would like to meet with us please schedule an appointment in advance to ensure that we are in the office, otherwise we are always available by phone.
We look forward to seeing you at the gym, in the pool, exploring the woods, or wherever else recreation takes you in Lake County!
