Welcome to the Lake County Recreation Department! Whether you are a fourth-generation native or a first-time visitor, whether you prefer the solitude of the outdoors or the bustle of a packed gym, whether you are young of age or young at heart, Lake County offers twelve months of the most diverse recreational opportunities in all of Colorado.  Want to see the future of Recreation in Lake County?  Click here for a copy of the recently approved 3-Year Master Plan.

The links at left provide information regarding our facilities, programs and activities. If you have questions or comments, please contact the Recreation Department at 719-486-7484 or stop by our office in Room 105 of the Lake County Court House.

This site focuses primarily on county-owned facilities and county-sponsored programs. There are many commercial outfitters, private clubs, and youth organizations that also provide exceptional recreational opportunities to residents and visitors in Lake County. Visit the Recreation Links section for information about these groups.

We look forward to seeing you at the gym, in the pool, in the woods, or wherever else recreation takes you in Lake County!
