Recreation Department Home Page

Welcome to the Lake County Recreation Department! Whether you are a fourth-generation native or a first-time visitor, prefer the solitude of the outdoors or the bustle of a packed gym, are young of age or young at heart, Lake County offers twelve months of the most diverse recreational opportunities in all of Colorado.

The links at left provide information regarding our facilities, staff, programs and activities. To view the 2014 Summer/Fall Program Guide click HERE. If you have questions or comments, please contact the Recreation Department at 719-486-7486, 7484 or 7494, or stop by our office in Room 105 of the Lake County Courthouse.

Please know that we do our best to ensure that someone is in the office at all times, however due to the size of our department and the multitude of programs and activities that we are responsible for we are not always in the building. If you would like to meet with us please schedule an appointment in advance to ensure that we are in the office, otherwise we are always available by phone.

We look forward to seeing you at the gym, in the pool, exploring the woods, or wherever else recreation takes you in Lake County!
