Ice Rink & Sledding Hill Information

Leiter Ice Rink is currently CLOSED for the season. 

Located at the intersection of 5th and Leiter, the ice rink is open from December to March; weather permitting. The facility features skate rentals, a snack bar, warming hut and a great sound system. The rink is open from 3:30 - 9pm daily, conditions permitting.  For more information on the rink please call 719-486-7486/ 7484. Click HERE for a current facility schedule. 

Programs:
The Recreation Department offers both coed and women's drop-in hockey on the following evenings.
Coed - Mondays from 7-9:00pm
Women's - Tuesdays 6:30-8:30pm

Dutch Henri is currently OPEN. 

 
The Dutch Henri Tubing Hill is a FREE public recreation area. Known and unknown hazards exist. Use at your own risk! Dutch Henri will be open for tube rental on Saturday and Sundays from 11am-5pm (weather permitting)!PICT0001.JPG

FAQ:

How do I know when the hill is open?
Call the Recreation Department at 719-486-7484/7486, visit our website or read the signage at the facility.
 
Do I have to use a tube?
No. You may use a plastic sled. Toboggans and sleds with metal runners are prohibited.
 
Can I still use the old sledding hill?
No. The previous sledding hill (the west side of Dutch Henri) is now owned by Cloud City Ski Club and sledding is prohibited.
 
Can I enter the tubing area from the College road, or from the campus of CMC?
No. You may only enter from the bottom of the hill. Please use the parking area off Highway 24.
