Recreation Department Staff
Larry holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Administration/Psychology and Education from Pitt State University and has over 35 years of experience in public recreation and education. He is responsible for the organization, implementation and day-to-day operations of the Recreation Department. Larry is an avid bowman, fisherman, and outdoorsman.
Peter Frykholm, Assistant Director 719-486-7486 :: pfrykholm@ co.lake.co.usPeter Frykholm has joined the Department after years of volunteering for many Lake County recreation programs and projects. He recently served as Chair of the $1.8 million Lake County Community Park project. In addition to years of coaching and officiating experience, Peter brings extensive marketing and grant-writing skills to the department.
Kelly Harcrow, Head Lifeguard 719-486-6985 :: leadvillepool@gmail.comKelly earned a BA in Human Performance Sport from Metro State College in Denver. He has worked in aquatics facilities for the past 19 years, and holds multiple lifeguard, instructor, and pool manager certifications. Kelly has a current PE teaching license in the state of Colorado, and he is also the owner of Altitudes Health and Fitness in Leadville.
