Amber Magee, Recreation Director

Amber holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sport and Exercise Science with an emphasis in K-12 Physical Education from the University of Northern Colorado. She has worked in recreation and teaching since 2002 and is passionate about youth sport and education. Aside from working with the Recreation Department, Amber enjoys coaching volleyball at LCHS and spending time with her two dogs.

Felicia Federico, Recreation Coordinator

Felicia Federico is a life-long resident of Leadville. She has always been active with youth programs in the community, first working at The Center for 18 years as well as coaching the LCHS Cheerleaders. Felicia has volunteered and worked for the Recreation Department with different programs for many years and is excited to be working in the Recreation Department full time. Felicia has two children, Nick, who is a student at CSU Pueblo, and Maggie, who attends school at Lake County Intermediate School.

Karen Lewis, Youth Program Coordinator

Karen is a Leadville Native!  She holds an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and has worked with children for the past eight years. Karen is excited to be coordinating youth programs for the Recreation Department and getting the kids of Lake County active.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Aaron, and their three dogs!

Dale Adamo, Head Lifeguard

Dale has a wealth of aquatics knowledge and currently holds certifications as an Aquatics Instructor for the Boy Scouts of America as well as the American Red Cross. He also has training in CPR/AED and first aid. Dale has worked for the Boy Scouts for almost 15 years as both an aquatics instructor and lifeguard and has been with the Lake County Recreation Department since 2015. In his free time, he enjoys skiing and live music.

Judy Green, Aquatics Coordinator
Judy Green is a self-proclaimed "water baby", and has been a lap swimmer for over 30 years. She has experience lifeguarding and SCUBA diving. Judy holds a degree in Advertising/Marketing/PR from Michigan State University. Most recently Judy served the Lake County community as the corporate and community education manager at Colorado Mountain College.
