Lake County Road and Bridge Department maintains approximately 360 lane miles of county roads. During the winter months, this includes snowplowing, grading, sanding, and snow removal. In the summer and fall, Road and Bridge does paving projects and patchwork according to the yearly plan. Besides maintaining county roads, Road and Bridge also does numerous projects, repairs, upgrades, and activities in assistance countywide.

  
Mineral belt Trail is open. Be careful there are a few icy spots on the trail. East 5th to the Hopemore is open.

        CLOSED: Hangerman Pass 
       CLOSED: Independence Pass 
      CLOSED: Mosquito Pass
      CLOSED: Weston Pass

           Private And Residential Plowing
  It is unlawful for any person to deposit snow plowed from a private driveway, road or any other source, onto any County Road per C.R.S. §43-5-301.Homeowners and contractors are advised not to push snow across the County Road at anytime.
