Lake County Road and Bridge Department maintains approximately 360 lane miles of county roads. During the winter months, this includes snowplowing, grading, sanding, and snow removal. In the summer and fall, Road and Bridge does paving projects and patchwork according to the yearly plan. Besides maintaining county roads, Road and Bridge also does numerous projects, repairs, upgrades, and activities in assistance countywide.

Beginning August 17, 2020 County Road 9 will be closed from the intersection of CR 9 and CR 9D to the intersection of CR 9 and CR 99. There will be a detor on CR 9D to CR 4 to 9C to CR 9 to CR99. Lake County Road and Bridge will be removing existing culverts and replacing them with 2 bridges.This detour could be in effect for 8 to 10 weeks. Alternate routes are advised!

Road and Bridge is asking the public if they see any County Road Signs missing or Pot Holes within the county please notify Lake County Public Works. Thanks 

           Private And Residential Plowing
  It is unlawful for any person to deposit snow plowed from a private driveway, road or any other source, onto any County Road per C.R.S. §43-5-301.Homeowners and contractors are advised not to push snow across the County Road at anytime.
