Lake County uses the Everbridge emergency alert program. This system has been in effect for a while now, and it allows Lake County Dispatch (911) to notify all or specific areas of the County in case of an emergency. It is capable of getting information out to thousands of residents quickly via landlines, cell phones, email, and more. If you would like to sign up for these alerts, click the link above.

You can register as a resident or business

Use your company name for first and last name if registering a business.

Enter any Locations You Care About

We send alerts based on a geographical location on a map. Insert up to five addresses for which you want to receive an alert if the location is affected by an incident or upcoming event.

IMPORTANT – If the address you provided is not in our database of known addresses for our jurisdiction, you will be presented with other options to add your address into this system, including: selection from a list of suggested addresses,or dropping a pin to select your location on the map (Microsoft Silverlight plug-in is required). You will not receive any location based alerts if you do not provide a complete address.    Alerts from this local system is limited to Chaffee County residents only, if you live ourside of Chaffee County you will not be able to register.

***We will never sell your information to 3rd parties.   Access and Functional Needs information may be shared with the Office of Emergency management, for assisting in updating emergency services current evacuation plans for our disabled/functional needs population in the event of an emergency.
